Pins extend the full width of the chain, ensuring maximum strength and providing smooth conveying surfaces. Smaller pitch chains minimise the size of dead plates when transferring products over the head or tail shafts, reducing chordal action, which helps to eliminate container tipping and jam-ups at transfer points.
